save me’s review of magical mystery tour

what a wonderful time, i had a very fun time listening 2 this album. i’m not entirely sure about the intricacies of how this album was put 2gether so i’m gonna judge it like it’s just another 1 of their albums. & quite frankly i haven’t enjoyed listening 2 them this much since rubber soul. the last 2 albums weren’t as fulfilling as i hoped but now i’m back on the beatles hype train again. the music is glorious, song writing is batshit crazy but in a beautiful way. u can just tell they had fun recording these songs & it’s infectious because of that. i would recommend listening 2 this over any other beatles album 1st because i feel like it has some of their best songs (so far in their discography up 2 this point anyway)

the fool on the hill - i am genuinely in love with this song, this is gonna be a song i have my kiddos listen 2 cuz i love it so much, 10/10 song

strawberry fields 4ever - such a relatable song.. i can see this becoming a top 5 beatles song 4 me the more i listen, 10/10 song

i am the walrus - this s*** is insanely wacky but in a charming way.. i think this might be the 1st “trippy” song outside of lucy in the sky with diamonds that i actually love the lyrics are just so imaginative, very poetic & the lil woo’s in the background are just heavenly

least favorite song

blue jay way - i don’t necessarily even dislike any of these songs but if i were forced 2 pick 1 it would be this, doesn’t mean i don’t like it i just don’t favor it as much as the rest.
