Yeah, she has a distinct voice, I haven't listened to the whole Loona catalogue, but judging by Youtube album line destribution videos, they sadly don't let her sing a lot.
I just got into Loona, I saw Go Won promo picture and thought she's so kawaii.

Both CL songs are not bad.

Yeah she doesnt get many lines which is pretty sad considering how amazing her voice sounds. Sadly its pretty clear who BBC prefers amongst the group

it's kinda crazy how Aespa's debut is like red velvet's all over again... 4 members debuting, surrounded with other groups in the company going through controversies (Luhan and Kris filing lawsuits against sm/Jessica being kicked out of snsd) (Chanyeol cheating allegations/Irene scandal).

yuh, this feels like the most hyped up debut since Blackpink lol, it seems everyone is talking about them.

the AI thing kinda stinted some of my hype, though I do think it's not gonna be as bad as they're describing it to be and will be a lot simpler, mainly because I don't think SM has the money/resources to fund something so ambitious, I feel like it's just gonna be mainly used as an extension of promo online. Like they're not at all on the level of an apple/amazon (who's AI such as siri/alexa are extremely simple anyway), they're a music company first, not a tech company, this is probs gonna be really low level AI which in itself costs a lot to fund.

I feel like that video was the equivalent of what one of those overblown mobile game trailers vs what the game actually plays/looks like comparatively (being much simpler), if you get what I mean. Though I could be wrong, we won't know till the debut I guess lol.

i kinda like the chaotic aspect of it. like it's something that i never would have thought of and its interesting to see how controversial it is.

Could the AI just end up being a chatbot type thing where you can text it? If so they'll have to be careful because you can really mess with those things :(

nahhhh there is no way SM as a company would risk doing a chat bot type thing, that would way too easily lead to a scandal.

In that case I think it'd just answer pre-written generic answers they update from the company. We really have no idea though, everything they've said about it has been extremely vague.

Saw people saying there could be more members based on the fact SM never clarified in any of their statements that Giselle is the final member.

since i can't double quote, do you think there's an ideal size for a group? I feel like 12 like Loona it's hard for each individual member to contribute if it's not with subunits

7 100% is the best number of members for a group imo. Despite me enjoying groups with more members, having like 9+ leads to unequal line distribution and a more likely chance for some members popularity eclipsing others. 5 or 9 is also pretty good but 7 is the sweet spot.

it's enough to make choreo on the stage interesting, with only 4 members the stage can sometimes look a bit boring/empty without backup dancers and with an odd number of members it's also a lot easier to do group formations/be more creative as you have a clear center on stage and are symmetrical. There are some groups with even numbered members with great/engaging choreo (gfriend for example) but odd numbered groups will always be the best in that regard.

i actually just had this notification for a vinyl pop up for cheap and was debating about buying it or not so i had started the album playing in the back to refresh and decide, and coincidentally i played the iu vid that had popped up on my youtube
