Hmmm overall i feel its probably my least favorite single by twice

The first half of the verse is nice and intriguing, but i think that's it. I dont think i liked dahyuns part.

I should explain that for every comeback except now 2, i have had a reaction where i want to immediately rewatch and listen again.

I don't have feelings of dissapointment like i did with DTNA because i thought of that song then as kinda a sell out or riding the wave. Now i like the song, and i dont hold those feelings anymore. Oddly enough, can't stop me probably is the most obvious wave rider track theyve done, but i cant say i really care.

Ultimately im glad its not a bad song, but i do feel a tinge of sadness that i dont love it

Thankfully i didnt get too excited with that Twice teaser so this song didnt disappoint me that much but still..

It’s still weird hearing these songs and knowing it’s Twice. My queens of bubblegum look how they did y’all.

The single is one of the better ones since Yes or Yes. But the album...man it pains me but I really don’t like a lot of these songs.

Hell in Heaven is interesting but didn’t have enough to do it for me.

Up No More is definitely one of the better songs here. Honestly might be the best song. Enjoyed it.

Do What We Like, Bring it Back, Go Hard, these songs are offensive. Twice should always have a chorus.

Believer and Queen are listenable but don’t really stand out.

Shot Clock can’t quite perform the same magic as Touchdown but it isn’t bad.

Twice R&B returns with Handle It and it’s okay but won’t find a spot on my playlist. Same goes for Depend on You.

Say Something was one that stood out to me. Don’t really have any complaints even with the lazy hook. It flows well and isn’t trying to be carried by a drop/instrumental. I like it. Love the lil sax taste at the end.

Now I was waiting for Behind the Mask the whole time. Heize effect. But the song wasn’t really what I was expecting. Was hoping for something soft and stripped down to close out the album. Didn’t end up one of favs.

So at the end of it all. I probably have 2 or 3 tracks out of 13 with playlist potential. I’m actually not disappointed because I’ve grown accustomed to Twice’s new direction so my expectations have naturally adjusted. Still have high hopes for their 2nd Japanese album.

Listened to the Eyes Wide Open two times, don't want to overlisten to it before getting cd. Overall, I think it's fine, enjoyed it even more during second listen, tbh I was expecting an album full of Say Something and Can't Stop Me, but I'm not dissapointed with the final. I wish this album had more rap verses, and not so many turnt up songs, but that's all.

ik it's my first TWICE song so I don't have anything to compare it to but after my second listen 'I can't stop me' has me choked up. it's such a beautiful song
