And while on the subject of streaming concerts, theyre lowkey hard to get thru now
Theres an inescapable hollow feeling via performing a concert as a concert w no fans
I think the only live streaming performance that was decent was the hhpf stream but i think doing it via tiktok via a vertical view created the appeal tbh
kinda agree abt concert streams, I felt that way when watching the loona concert
it was enjoyable but without a live audience it just doesn't hit the same
hoping once halloween still happens
Why do photos have these marks like it's a picture of viewfinder? Is it a watermark? I've seen it before on some Blackpink photos.
I thiiiink so
People saying loona’s new album is a masterpiece
Can't wait to listen
fall again is def a masterpiece
Didn't like the single?
don't love it like I love the first 3 post debut singles (butterfly, favorite & hi high) but I like it, certainly more than I like so what. MV was great as well. The choreo is my biggest problem w/ it.
you?
Really sad about crush enlisting
One of the few most important artists i never took my so to go see
ok i was completely on one today i guess
i told her about crush enlisting and she was like “well at least i got to see him live”
i was like wtf????
but she was right. it was one of our earliest shows. i almost got into a fight in the crowd right before crush played. how i forgot that, i have no idea
so i’m a little less sad now
like 1 percent less
still tho
Lovelyz' Jisoo & Mijoo, Momoland's JooE and Nancy, GFriend's Eunha & Umji, April's Chaekyung and Naeun, WJSN's Soobin and Dayoung, Weki Meki's Yoojung and Doyeon, and (G)I-DLE's Miyeon & Yuqi all going on 1 episode of knowing bros

@Masterstothemax_2
here are about 10 of my fav title tracks (singles) to come out this year, although there's a lot more lol.

(some tracks I'd recommend: Bad boy, Automatic, Russian Roulette, Peak a boo, psycho & for something a bit weirder "Zimzalabim")
I'm finally making my way through this and I'm enjoying every single song, thank you so much for linking them all!!
since almost everything you've said has involved singles, is kpop more of a singles genre? I realize it seems silly but even within American pop I can still find artists whose albums i like. the only person i know who likes kpop irl doesn't listen to albums at all

The people taking them are pretty much professional idol paparazzi so they go home and edit the pics (white wash them) before posting them officially
Those viewfinder pics are just teasers and previews. They use their phone to take a pic of the viewfinder

k-pop is definitely a genre that's focused on singles, groups actually very rarely release full studio albums and usually stick to mini albums (eps).
however there is still lot's of quality to be found in tracks that aren't singles (referred to as b-sides in k-pop) and there are loads of great albums in the genre. In fact a lot of the time the b-sides are much better than the title track (literally every song on LOONA's new ep is better than the single)
My favourite album this year is actually a k-pop album lol (yukika's 'soul lady').
They did my girl Vivi so well but they did go won so bad smh 😭😭😭
https://twitter.com/raymiest/status/1318117345215180801LMAOOOOO they did go won so dirty. First time she ever really changes her hair and they dont even showcase it. I specifically remember seeing that shot of her and being like wow they have not shown her this entire time...
love the album, loona is king of b sides theyre literally all great cant even pick a favorite.. maybe star?

Singles are the primary focus as kpop is very visual and idol based and the singles are what get videos, promoted choreo, music show performances, etc
But usually with every single comes at least an EP with 3-5 additional tracks that you can check out. Some of these groups aren’t slacking at all in terms of quality when it comes to b sides
I always listen to the full EP or album if I check out a single

yeah, I was so happy with how much screen time all of the girls were getting (ESPECIALLY VIVI) up until they showed Go Won's closeup and I realised wtf this is the first time we've seen her this entire time
I know she's pretty much the face of the group but they really need to chill with how much screen time Heejin constantly gets.

I literally had the same reaction because her hair stands out so much. Its such a shame because Go Won has grown on me so much and so I have this huge soft spot for her now. I love her voice.
And dude FRRRRRR! Its basically a guarantee that in every MV she will have like 40% screen time. I get it but good lord at least try to hide it a little bit. Theres so much talent in that group to showcase.

you?
I feel that
So What grew on me so I may end up liking this but it was a bit underwhelming. The mv was great as usual
They did my girl gowon DIRTY I was searching for her like
