Honestly digusting. Like without having the rest of the song to make up and recover from enduring such a s***ty chorus, its just torture.

when verse spikes on that note and holds it for the end of the line, and the layering under that,,,

pre chorus gets kinda..standard, but its still great.

i think the issue is when u go halftime, u need something to take up the space uve now created, and in this instance, they dont. there's...nothing. so its like the whole song just leaks in energy and dies every chorus. u can see in its ..3rd/last? instance, it's somewhat palatable cause theyre just doing it straight, but overall its still a horrible ass chorus. i think i understand what they were going for, but i cannot believe that's they best could have done, especially with how great the rest of the song is.
