im gonna be honest, the new somi really feels like they spent 90 percent of their time making the chorus, and then once they had it, they just did bare minimum for the rest of the song

Teddy is truly the worst current Kpop producer, everything he makes sounds so derivative and just generally boring/repetitve, the new song he's given to Somi sounds like a bp reject. It says a lot that her best song is a b-side that Teddy had nothing to do with.

Somi had all the star power in the world in i.o.i and it feels like YG/TBL/Teddy has completely sucked it out of her with their terrible management and direction, 4 songs since her debut is just awful. I know she probably left jyp to pursue a solo career but she would've really shined in a group, or even just as a soloist in a company that isn't YG/TBL.

He only got 1 sound but dumb dumb is for sure is a bp reject you can fill in where the girls woulda been 😭 At least the chorus is really good.
