I'm watching My MIster and IU's acting is so on point, it's surprising for me how a so big artist can play character so down to Earth and I believe every second
To specify, based on the content that I've watched, IU seems pretty chill in real life too and not some kind of a diva, but being able to play such a character and also have a big celebrity status is sign of a talent.
I thought about making a general thread outside of this concerning the issue but considering the amount of casual xenophobia thrown about even on this site concerning BTS and asian people in general, it's largely not worth it.
WTF, I've read what that s*** of a host said and it's ridiculous. Also this excuse that the station gave is such bullshit.
Maybe I'll say something controversial, but when they say that he does some refugee aid etc., considering what this person can say about other people just because of their origin, I think that he is totally fake and does all that anti-extremism stuff just to keep his chair on the radio.
Honestly, I hate such hypocrites more then people who are geniunely racist, at least if they change their opinion that will be sincere, but those who use racial/nationalistic slurs as a joke, these people will stay s***ty till they die.

oh he's totally fake and that "apology" was total bs, especially since he went onto his facebook and shared this s***.
I'm glad to see some media outlets (teen vogue, NME, Forbes) talk about this/call it out and frame it in a much better way than I thought they would tbh.

https://twitter.com/traveltomyrm/status/1365321397342461957Hahahaha, Lmao, if you have to write a freaking essay to explain why you are not racist then you probably are
P.S. Fix You is a Coldplay song, and I'm pretty sure that Chris Martin is nowhere as stuck up as this piece of s*** host.

Wrong forum for that
for some context: brave girls (a group that debuted in 2011) has gone viral in Korea with a song released in 2017.
this is somewhat similar to what happened with Exid before they were planning to disband but in their last promotions of up&down, a fancam of Hani (one of the most iconic fancams to this day) went viral, making up&down a massive hit, which saved the whole groups career and turned them into extremely popular stars in their own right. Instead of Hani's ass going viral it's this video on youtube:

A group that has had no success since debut is finally finding some 10 years later and I find that to be very heartwarming, I hope brave ent don't f*** this up and send them on music shows to promote (first win hopefully) and plan up a comeback soon.
stream rollin!

Great for girls to get such a global promotion, I hope UN is a better organization then WHO.
