it's in their contract to disband after 2.5 yrs as they're a project group (formed on a reality show, PD48, the members come from different agencies), though they could extend their contract, the chances of that happening is pretty much 0 as the agencies will want the girls back ASAP to re-debut in new groups/maybe add to current groups in cases like Yena & Everglow, that contract is due to end in April.

I'm mostly sad abt the Japenese members since they're def gonna leave k-pop and return to HKT48/AKB48, aside from maybe Hitomi. Also the chances of the groups that the new members will be in being even close to as popular/successful as Izone is not happening, aside from maybe Starship's new girl group and Everglow.

also yuh the group is great! never too late to get into them despite their contract ending soon.
