I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU was probably my favorite album from homie, but I'm not feeling this one much. "Yen" and "No Strippers in Heaven" are cold.
I agree.
the same flow all album almost like dawg spent maybe 2-3 days at most recording all the vocals?
These "beat changes" kinda sounding copy pasted?
The fact promo for this started a month or 2 ago?
yeah, this highkey was rushed

Don't think it was rushed but it does sound uninspired at times which is rare for Peggy.
Burning Hammer
Emmett Till
Yen
Bridges on Fire
No Strippers
Only songs I see myself going back to for now.
Last time I felt like this album an album from a rapper I love is The Big Day
I don’t think it’s that bad but I definitely expected more after I Lay Down My Life For You

I Lay Down gets some hate but it's genuinely not far off his best albums.
I feel like this was made for a tour/festival run
Some of these songs only make sense at a show
head is so bad, like wtf
not trying to hear him talking about his slampiece trying to suck it from soft tbh

one of his worst songs ever, what was he thinking
The sequencing sucks a bit and I wish he let the beats ride out before changing them.
GYBB is some clarence thomas ass s***
Based on this thread I thought this was about to be the worst album ever and then I listened and it was.. pretty good lol.
Holy s*** yeah he basically copied that idea except instead of classical, fleshed out, vibrant dubstep like flux hes just doing dog s*** rip offs of modern excision riddim type garbage. He also ripped off of Sophie a ton but it doesn't work
Man I saw flux in 2016 and it was f***ing magical. Maybe the Tesla Oreo helped but goddam one of the best sets I ever seen
ya while scrubbing i found some SOPHIE influences. and a little bit of Flume
what i did hear sounded a bit undercooked. not sure if peggy actually knows how to make meaningful edm music. he couldve called in a friend or two
