Never thought a standalone Joker movie would make a billion dollars.
That's f***ing insane.

The unexpected bounty also is generating a huge payday for Phillips, 48. Sources say the director will earn close to $100 million when the dust has settled (he deferred his upfront salary in exchange for a bigger slice of the adjusted gross).
tbh joaquin and todd had been asked if they would do a sequel way before the movie got this big
and they both answered they would love to IF the story was good so

No sequel. F*** that. Even Christian Bale turned down Dark Knight 4 to respect Nolan's vision. Keep a good thing a good thing

I think a sequel is needed. So Joaquin has something to actually work with, Joker was boring for the most part.
Seeing as Batman is a young boy in Joker, I don’t know what that means for who Joker would antagonise in the sequel.

Dark Knight 4??
Dark Knight 4??
Yeah Warner pitched A Dark Knight 4 to Bale. Makes sense, it's a 2.4 Billion franchise. But nah

They could think of something after the Oscar noise has died down. Right now I just want them to focus on this Joker film. As far as it being boring/not having much in it, that's purely subjective

Who knows who else was involved. Nolan would most likely not be on-board
