“ don’t try to compare this to others “
There is nothing it’s being compared to. It’s saying they both use a specific story telling device that I personally feel takes away from the story

Cool but you responded with "” I read the comics hurr durrr”"
Yes because no one asked if you read the comics that has and still has nothing to do with my point. I could say I watch documentaries about mental health or read peer reviewed articles . Flexing that you read comics has nothing to ducking do with “
I feel using an unreliable narrator to give the audience the idea it was possibly all made up or a lie is lazy writing “ whether it’s in a comic it’s lazy , a game ( spec ops done well) , movie
It doesn’t change my point at all

Fam please re-read last page I already said "I just pointed it out in case you weren't familiar with the comics". A lot of people, fans appreciated it with the movie cause of the nod and I thought it was worth noting.

I already explained myself, this isn't going anywhere. I rest my case, you're angry at someone or something and I don't want to be apart of your rain. Sorry
Heath Ledger's Joker is clearly a mix of The Crow and Tom Waits
But I wonder...
Did Nolan want his Joker to echo the Crow from the getgo, and only cast Heath cause he would resemble the Crow in white face makeup with those type of mannerisms?
Also (and this may be a reach but it's important to note), TDK is for the most part a gothic 90s tribute crime film (this explains the references to Heat and The Long Halloween). But if you include the Joker in this...you know a popular 90s gothic crime film featuring an eccentric guy with lipstick and white face makeup?
The Crow.
@Brave the crow truly doesn’t get enough love
Now give me a superhero movie without an antagonist
PLACE THEM IN SOCIETY
Hancock out now
Hancock out now
Ehhh antagonist there would be the powers themselves less than society
spoilers (not sure if its allowed in here and no id how to spoiler tag):
what yall think about bruce being part of the movie? I liked the scene at the gate, but the rest was super f***ing stupid. Haven't thought that much about it tho, but i just dont see any thematic reasons in putting him in the movie.
Amazing movie and performance by Phoenix. The tension during the talk show scene with Joker and Murray was intense.
Phoenix needs to win an Oscar for this.
