I feel like this is the closest thing hes ever done to those two. If youre not into I get it, might just be a fan of those two projects instead of him as a whole. I get it tho I see that take a lot on the internet ever since he pivoted a bit

I don't like a lot of this. Comparing it to his earlier stuff seems kind of lazy, this is much more haphazard and all over the place. I'm sure that's the intention but it really isn't catching me.

That said, I Want You To Know and Fire The Editor are my favorite JB songs in years so that's cool.

Intro and first batch of songs were captivating me
i'm a lil more meh on the middle section of the album but ima keep this on loop today so that might change

but damn that moody intro was perfect

I would say this a album is 75% a polished version of his electronic roots and 25% his "Friend's that break your heart" sound

i'm happy for y'all that wanted back to basics album, but i'm more of that Assume Form/Friends/Colour JB type

still this album is an amazing piece of work and so the sound fits the name so f***ing well

also, how is this like Colours? I feel like that album didn't have too much electronic unlike this one.

he's been wonderful/big hammer was the weak point of my first listen too but everything else really kept me intrigued
