Hmm maybe you're used to the run/its not so taxing for you. If you're still at your levels then more power to you
I love running back especially after leg day
Now I'm thinking about it, cardio literally gets blood pumping, activating muscles. Maybe it's worth doing as part of a warm up, but only small amount, not an actual cardio workout

I do dynamic stretches to get the legs going. Kicks back and forth, sideways, then static stretch

For the most part a lot of recommendations you’ll see are for general people. But when you learn your body you can make adjustments because the recommendations don’t apply to everyone.
You’ll also find a lot of the info out there on fitness and nutrition is simply bullshit.
