Been resting only went to the gym once so far this week and will prob take next week off
Anyone else switched to machines and cables instead of dumbbell/barbell? I just use em for biceps nowadays but almost everything else on machines and cables works much better for me. Idc about them stability muscles or whatever them s***s are called. Just give me constant tention on the muscle im working
if it works for you then it works. i'm a powerlifter at heart so i couldn't give up the freeweights.
i do use them for accessory stuff and even like using cables for my triceps over barbells tho. easier on the elbows
i'm back to peak strength so i started cutting down. got a good amount of weight to lose.
started counting calories about 10 days ago. so f***ing tedious. i hate the s*** but it's a necessity for me.
running sheiko on a 4 day tue/thur/sat/sun split
Gained some weight (some muscle, some fat), time to do more cardio and core exercises
just looking at progress over the years, so happy where I've gotten.
the hardest part is seeing those transformation reddit subs/tik toks and feeling like doing one but when I began this journey it was for myself.
the aesthetic gains have been nice and that but I feel like a bit of narc doing a transformation post. might just keep it for myself.

You can be proud of yourself without being a narc

it's weird fam I feel so bad about it, maybe it's just my upbringing. we're very humble and despite the transformation my family have always been supportive and weren't too hard on me. my mum is especially happy for me.

Biggest factor is whether you're happy, it really helps when people you care about are supportive. So you're good, chin up and be proud of yourself
I'm not really a fan of those transformation things either, but if you want to it's not necessarily a bad thing. You worked hard for this.

been on a week or so break with some traveling, but should get back to the grind tomorrow on some light weight dumb bell stuff at my families house.
Shoutout to resistance bands. I can at least get a full body workout in while traveling.

that + your own bodyweight and you can hit a mean workout for sure
