this new protein powder I am having tastes crazy good
I got peach tea from my protein for £10/kg, tastes really good no lie. Dunno why it was so cheap - 75% off ?
Just started making bulking shakes for the first time. I find it sooo hard to maintain a "bulking diet" im busy and less appetite. Lets see how much easier these are. A huge breakfast and one of these a day + my normal routine should sort me for now. On top of following a new plan (Candito) to start hitting all my muscle groups twice a week. Should be a healthy winter.

Accidentally deadlifted 175 instead of 155 as I planned to, didn’t realize until I completed my last set successfully
Dude you are a god
Hit a new max on deadlift for 325lbs last week. Hoping to hit 350lbs before the end of the year.

@Shalashaska2047 I mean I dont know tbh. I mean I guess I feel good but last week was just weird. Between my whole week getting thrown off cause of Jury Duty on Monday (I've become surprisingly particular about my morning routine since I started working out journey in August) and Takeoff's passing, I was legit just going through the motions.
It felt like the days I was going to the gym that I had to push myself to get through the workouts. Which I did so I feel good about that but I definitely was more lenient on what I was eating just cause my mind was elsewhere for most the time last week.
Physically, feel great. But also I've always been erring on the side of skinny-fat for most of my life to the point a friend told me if I ever started cutting I would get quick results. Ain't really believe her but it's been 3 months and I've gone from a 36 to a 31 in pants size. Which is great but not so great cause I gotta buy more s***.
I also to this point (3 months, 14 weeks in) have not used a scale. I just go off how I feel. Waking up earlier in the mornings (consistently 8-9 on Mondays and Fridays, consistently 6-7ish on tuesdays-thursdays because the gym aint as crowded) has definitely put a lil more pep in my step.
I walk waaaaaay more than I ever did in the past ( like I've walked from Harlem to Brooklyn once/routinely will walk from my saturday job around 23rd street up to columbus circle on 59th) and eh, I just look at how I used to look 10 years ago to now tbh.

Crazy how many more women are complimenting me after I got leaner and lost mass. I want to build a little more muscle but it’s nice atm. 💀
The running and cycling life has been great, hardly feel tired and always sleep well. Might persist with it a bit more and do some boxing maybe to switch it up. I want to start lifting again for more strength though
How much water weight do u gain on creatine?
if you just start off with 5g instead of doing the loading phase s*** you really don’t gain much.. if at all.. in my opinion

Sheeeeeiit
Just be careful not to go heavy on these, real injury risk
Aye thanks again I had looked up some videos and didn't realize they were that dangerous which explains why I never really saw a bunch of people doing them aside from the machine version.
I did them again but this time more straight up and less weight like 20sum reps of 15. Just to get a feel of it. Still got a nice pump after 3 sets. But I'd rather slow motion vs snapping my s*** up
