I f***ing hate that I let myself go.
I’m almost 300Ibs 😅 (270Ibs) this is the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life. I look disgusting..
Time to get back to it, I just don’t know how right now.
Any suggestions?
Why have you not been keeping up with your gym attendance? Do you drink beer

Depression. It got to me for the longest time. A lot of things happened in 3 years.
I never attended an actual gym just home 🏠 workouts. I was in USMC Bootcamp before everything else went bad.
Yeah, I started drinking heavy. Beer & Liquor.
I just can’t catch my wind, but I’m ready to catch it now.
Think I messed up my elbow again. Jeez man. 245 incline bench for 8 again suicide grip with ease. I wonder what I could max at. I feel like I could hit a hood amount. I legit never went up in weight for a lot of these lifts for like 5 years lmao
Haven’t squatted in months and my hamstrings are killing when squatting, why is this happening
What's something you guys found helped stepped your cardio game up? Whether it was the activity, mentality, food, heart rate tracking etc?
my heartrate has to be in zone 3-4 for a prolonged period of time to get maximum benefits imo (45 mins-1 hour), so I'm mindful of my heartrate for sure
low intensity cardio is fine on rest days but I feel like if your heart rate isn't elevated enough when you're doing cardio you won't be maximising the benefits imo
also if you get food at the physically taxing forms of cardio (rowing, air bike) anything else feels like a breeze.
Fried my elbow again smh
foam roll or use a tennis ball to to get rid of the knots maybe or imo or get a massage done an tell them to work on your elbow area an also stretch out your hands an for arm before an after working out
Starting to increase my weight I been doing recently, I am really starting to notice changes in my body
new beach house music and new PR for overhead press literally experienced transcendence
post workout cold showers are a no-no for me rn
them b****es hit harder than cardio at this time of the year
guess I'll have to stretch my doms off

I take meds tho so I dont wanna put stress on my heart
What is everyone 1 rep max on bench
never tried it to be honest
if I cant go for 5+ reps with a certain amount of weight then it's not a good indicator of what I can do
aint been to the gym in years, gonna start in 2 weeks with a friend, im not gonna be able to do pull ups
skipping rope & some light calisthenics to start
starting all over for pullups tho

i was into engineering and going to germany and back
back n forth so i stopped doin any meaningful gym exercises like this just got caught up and I only played basketball to keep up on conditioning, now im kinda settled down so its the right time to get back on this stuff
but yeah man i know for a fact its gonna be pullups from scratch cause I must've added like 15-20lbs over these 2 years

it's nice you got the chance to chill a bit (even if it was work related). You're taking care of yourself on all levels and that's great.
now, those extra pounds might seem a lot but dont be discouraged, a lot of people work day in day out for a chance to put on some weight and bulk up....see it as an opportunity, not a setback
