sumo deadlifts for sure. also do these when you feel comfortable with your lower back again

My lowerback has been bugging me too despite stretches and strengthening core
flu game.
i get the dedication but dam have some respect for ya fellow lifters and don't go to the gym when you're contagious.
run, bicycle, yoga, stretch, calisthenics, hiking, foam roll, etc. u can still get a mad sweat/pump/recovery going with no equipment especially if u are sick and will gas out easily

Just frustrated cus I was just getting consistent with the gym again

Oh yeah stay home my nigga. God bless
I mean it's certainly a very good and hard workout but I think that it's good to put your core under load through more range of motion despite the point of the core muscles being to resist movement. So like twisting motions and bending side to side primarily. At relatively low weight as well. Think side planks, db side bends, hanging leg raises with knees bent forward left and right, russian twists, etc.

Good s*** 😩

i'm thinking of replacing deadlifts with weighted pull ups so i can still progressive overload, are deadlifts that necessary

None of weightlifting is, all subjective to your goal. Deadlifts are extremely taxing to the nervous system, require a ton of energy to recover from. The only purpose I see for deadlifts outside of being a powerlifter is to strengthen weakened posture and mobility but that would be with way less weight than the average gym bro's ego allows
sumo deadlifts for sure. also do these when you feel comfortable with your lower back again

Highly recommend this guy's channel whether you squat or not. His philosophy towards training is very practical. Better people watch this guy then the majority of idiots in the industry
