    eating in surplus and compound movements is where it's at

    been going hard since getting back to the gym have consistently progressive overloaded on all my compound lifts for like 6 months now

    small physique update. currently 75kg wanna bulk to 80kg or so and then do a small mini cut. also wanna add more size to my chest and lower lats

    My old job before Covid, I used to work out in the morning and then go to work.

    Now I do 9-6 and by the time I get home it’s 7, then another hour to eat and get ready. After that, I have to walk a mile and some to the gym.

    I’m used to it, but I wish I lived right next to the gym. Would probably be there everyday then lol

    so i use to work 7-3 then use to bus it to the gym, took me about in hour to get there, then in between i use to sleep in the bus an subway stops an eat to, then i would go home eat then sometimes at night it was harder to sleep times cuz after the gym you got energy so i use to sleep at 1230 then wake up at 5 i hated that s*** it felt worse then prison imo so i hope you keep it up bro

    thankfully that’s only on Wednesday, then Friday it’s cool because it’s weekend and I could sleep longer when I get home. Saturday and Sunday I’m free, so I’m in there with no problem.

So by the time I fall asleep, it’s 12 something and I have to be up by 6. Then at work I’ll be nodding off while looking at computer screen.

    I know if I had physical job where I move around, then I would be fine. But doing computer work while sitting down is hard to stay up.

    ya i agree i worked hospitality standing all day helping guests so standing you still feel it but siting is worse because your not moving so you know what you should get up like Every 45 mins stretch move around or say to your manager im ''stepping away to use the washroom''

    i used to go the gym atleast 3 times a week and its been about a month since ive had that constant cycle and about a week since ive been to the gym in general.

    im bout to go in tonight and work hella hard fr i gotta get back on my s***. my diets been slipping so so has my physique fr.

    Well don't let hunger discourage your from shifting away from your diet and going to Keto lol. Like 26ix said, make sure your still getting in your carbs but make sure to stay within in your limits.

    Ways to curb your hunger is....

    • Drink tons of water
    • Coffee definitely helps
    • Appropriate carbonated drinks (Coke Zero, Sparkling Ice) makes you feel bloated and takes your hunger away too
    • fats are quite overlooked in this regard, Peanut Butter for example helps satisfy your hunger nicely
    • Keep yourself busy, try to not think about hunger as much
    • Related to last point, learn to love being slightly hungry and embrace it. At end of the day, think about the main reason your going on a cut and trust me it'll end up paying off.
