Is it true that I should minimize the amount of carbs before working out and consume them afterwards? As it apparently helps with reducing bf

Not true. It’s broscience. U can eat whenever u want and it won’t affect fact loss except for total calories in vs out
Back on the gym grind. Covid not stopping me. Lowkey stronger than before while weight was lost

Even with cutting?
Even with cutting?
Yup even with cutting. There’s more reason to eat before working out then tho just for the energy

It's actually accepted as the opposite, but not for weight gain/loss. Eating carbs half an hour/an hour before a workout tends to give you more energy. But beginner/intermediate lifters don't really have to worry about nutrient timing and meal windows. Stuff like carb spiking is really for those who are beginning to maximize their natural limits.
The only thing that realistically matters for weight gain/loss is CICO. It's all about the calories.

Been working out like in the morning and always have some breakfast beforehand, otherwise it's extremely hard for me tbh

Idk if it helps with reducing bf but u should definitely have a large portion of carbs after every workout
If I work out on Monday, Wednesday and Friday when should I do cardio? I already do Saturday but I reaaally wanna do at least 1 more day.
I feel like if I do cardio close to my leg day one or the other has to suffer.
Btw. My workout A is UPPER body and Workout B is LOWER body and I alternate between them every week, meaning one week I do 2 upper body workouts and 1 lower body and the next week I do 2 lower body and 1 upper body workouts.

Depends what kind of cardio. What kind? What intensity? That’ll dictate it cuz u don’t want to mess up your recovery
this might not be the right place, but man i really miss the gym and working out.
i am feeling down, lost, anxious about my health and wellbeing.
i go running, i've been using the fiit app, but more and more im losing my motivation. lockdown needs to end soon.

In the same boat. Really been struggling to cope. Thoughts just keep getting worse. You're doing more than the bare minimum right now and that's good enough. Stay strong man

you too bro. it's tough times out here. i think going to the gym is more than just working out. it's socialising as well. meeting people with the same interests. being motivated by everyone around you. i made a lot of friends through gym.
i genuinely thought i was mentally strong and able to cope with lockdown, but it's been tough.

Lowkey I feel you about the gym, the one I go to is still closed and while home workouts can be effective, working out at the gym feels much better. Like you said you could meet people, more access to equipments, etc.
