I'm taking creatine and am fully loaded atm. Biggest benefit is increased recovery speed.
You don't go in the gym feeling worn the f*** out.
Also you'll notice you'll have one or two more reps left in the tank
I haven't noticed any side effects yet, but its proven using it provides strength benefits

Ain’t that just temporary?

it's the opposite, you increase water retention while taking it and it decreases when you stop
besides creatine's water retention is unlike sodium's water retention, it doesn't go to the skin but it goes to the muscle tissue which is why it gives the impression of fuller muscles.
creatine is the only must have supplement in terms of what you cannot get in terms of food. all the rest is useless or unnecessary.
you will lose the strength you gained with creatine though that's the only downside of creatine but it's not even important. it's cheap and safe as f***, you can take it for life safely.
dudes who are prone to hair loss are the only people at risk with creatine

Used to take them before my workouts but my dad took them away and thinks they're bad for you

Creatine?? Most researched supplement. Only downside is increases risk for baldness if you already have that trait.
Pre workout is what’s a bit dangerous if you have heart issues. I’d assume your father thought it was preworkout

Well idk if I should be taking creatine now since there's a history of baldness within my family, though they typically occurs in their 30's. Would it still speed up the process? Cuz I don't want that

Yea it speeds the process by a few years. If you were gonna go bald by 35, with long term creatine use it would happen around 33. Its worth it though imo, like ok so what a few years earlier, you were gonna go bald anyway!

True
I'll start taking them from now today
welcome to the swole side!!!
Still going at it now, unfortunately the gyms around me will be closed for like another months so I gotta stick to my home workouts. Although I purchased a very heavy resistance bands and looking for workouts that fit it.
I'm determined to get shredded by next summer

The creatine will def help even with bodyweight exercises
.
for your eyes only
that being said it's not spectacular but in a year's span with how underweight I was, I'm really happy.
biceps and quads will be my priority the next few months since I'm not satisfied.
