Higher weight lower volume is better for weight gain IMO but i do not know s***.

i used to up my reps with every set but yeah then i found up upping the weights of your machines/dumbbells is alot better for weight gaining

yea that’s ass backwards.
I do low reps but up weight nearly everyday. I’ve been able to add 5 lbs to my bench on every chest day, but i only do 3x5.
Also i was mad underweight when i started so the quick gains were in store. I’m 6’1” and was 130 at my lowest lol

everyday I make a shake with these things (mostly eyeball all measurements except the oats)
Raw Oats (1 cup) put in blender first and make it into powder (pumpkin seed, flax seed good with that)
Full fat greek yogurt (thick ~2 tablespoon)
Natural peanut butter (thick ~ 2 tablespoon)
Eggwhites (pour out like 2 tbls worth)
2 scoops of Whey Protein (vanilla)
Some fruit/berries for flavor (i.e. I buy big bag of mixed berries from costco and divide them in cup size ziploc and freeze them)
Fill the rest of the space with WHOLE milk. (or whatever almond milk etc)
I eyeball it, but that s*** comes out to like 6 cups of liquid when I’m done. That s*** will be like roughly 1300 cal and like 80+ grams of protein.
Drink half after breakfast and half after coming back from the gym.
Besides that I just try to eat sizable meals in addition. don’t really overthink it

YEP, dealt with this for ages, was an absolute b**** to get over. rest, stretching, foam rolling and icing really helped. stretching the IT bands

What area are you specifically right in? Sometimes it could be that the area where you’re getting pain isn’t the source. Like yesterday my neck was super sore but I ended up relieving it by massaging my traps
