GIO GIOI understand that some people disagree with it for the reasons you outlined. I'm sure there are many trump supporters who vote completely opposite their beliefs because they don't know better. I do think that some people genuinely prefer our current system, and understand that while it might not be perfect, there are solutions that don't involve dismantling the system and starting over with something else entirely new. Many people genuinely feel that way. I mean 63 million people saw the last 4 years of trump and voted for him today
could be off base but im pretty sure you're a biden supporter, and ive also seen you defend neoliberalism. so you're a good example of why i disagree.
people who genuinely believe in reforming this system want to keep it afloat and adjust it gradually, and IMO thats exactly what biden represents ("nothing will fundamentally change" to donors, platform of public option, against GND and banning fracking but still acknowledging climate change, etc.)
people who are deeply socially disturbed by the current system implicitly recognize that its broken, which leaves them with two options that claim to offer a solution- the reactionary right or the far left.
