I think being vegan can be healthy if you can afford alternative forms of protein sources but I personally believe that the human body by nature is designed to have a balanced diet that includes meat/fish/dairy

Meat = Because we're born omnivores look at our teeth alignment
Fish = The argument has been made that we've literally been able to evolve due to eating fish because the omega 3 fatty acids in fish promotes brain development plus the iodine in fish is a requirement to survive which is why we now have normalized having iodized salt as a dietary supplement
Dairy = First thing you're supposed to drink when you're born (mother's milk determines the healthy bacterial lining for the entire duration of your life in your intestines since you're born with a sterile intestinal tract)
