CampaignCan someone explain this to me? So because Prop 22 passed, the workers for Uber and Lyft are still considered independent contractors thus having to pay for their own healthcare?
What does this have to do with retail?
Lot of retail workers have had their schedules reduced to 10-15hr workweeks making them ineligible for benefits.
A huge precedent was set by porp 22 and hard not to expect retail companies will pursue gig/contract employment over full time as retail economy continues to shrink

irl. If everything holds the way it currently is, and the only thing that happens is Nevada flips (very unlikely but still) Trump will win and it'll be his awful handling of COVID that gives him the victory instead of the loss.
