Plus letās be honest, a lot of young whites are just as racist as older ones.
there's been cases against the effectiveness of mandatory voting, but after seeing these past two elections... there's some good reasons to really force people to actually vote. something like an election holiday maybe.
and statistics tend to disagree with your second sentiment. we can get into argument about inherent racism, but younger white folks tend to not vote Republican and lean left.

Think the old ones are much much worse. They always tend to overwhelmingly vote to keep these racist systems in place.
I really do think that young whites are much less racist. I donāt know any racist whites from my peers and people I grew up around. Know plenty of older racist whites (some, unfortunately, in my family). Significant difference between the generations IMO (and I think this is backed up by how the demographics vote in elections).
Oh yeah I wasnāt saying that younger white people are just as racist as older ones, Itās better than it used to be. but to me if people think racism will completely disappear with boomers and older they have themselves fooled.
I do think America will be a exponentially better place for everyone once theyāre gone for sure tho.
