this is generally good advice but past performance does not indicate future returns
if everyone 'passive invests' there is no real price discovery anymore and real dislocations occur
So what do you suggest? Try to play the market instead of just have it in index funds?
Y’all got any stock suggestions? Gonna throw in another $350 on Monday.
Gonna buy some Transocean (RIG), currently at $1.15, peaked at $7.17 in January

What’s making me buy RIG?
I’ve been looking for stocks that are down a lot over the past few months. Over the past 5 years the lowest it had ever gone was $4.20, but since corona it has dropped to $1.15. I’m expecting most companies to recover and get close to where we were before. Also their earnings report suggested they have plenty of cash on hand and wouldn’t be at risk of going bankrupt, unlike Valaris (another company I also invested in, which is currently at 40 cents a share, down from $8 in January). If Valaris gets halfway back to where it was 4 months ago, then I’ll make 10 times what I put in. RIG is safer from what I’ve read, but less reward there.
I have a small amount of money spread across numerous cryptos.
If I were to trim it down to three, what should they be?

I earned the DAI for free. I just wanted advice on what to monitor/convert my existing cryptos into that would generate profit for me to reinvest

DAI is like holding a dollar though. it's not going to "go up" in value. it's worth $1. it has a different use case.
from what you posted hold ETH, BAT, BTC
sell the XLM, EOS, LTC: those are s***coins

if you're getting this through coinbase earn make sure to make a coinbase pro account so that you don't pay high fees when you do make some trades
Im super skeptical of the supposed Bitcoin 10k talk by May 12th, and then the bitcoin price rising significantly within the 12 months , which has followed previous halvings. Anybody itt feel the same way?
Ethereum will never be above $200 again
