Yes it’s an “asset” the price you buy it for is your avg price I.e 7,200$. Depending on whether the price rises or drops over your avg price will determine if you profit or lose
Do you recommend throwing all your coins into wallets?
If ETH hits 10k I’ll be retiring lmao
Might be a higher chance of it hitting around $10 first
Do you recommend throwing all your coins into wallets?
if you mean removing your coins from an exchange to a wallet you have the private keys to then yes it is recommended for long term holds.
you do not fully own your s*** unless you control it. exchanges have been hacked or emails/accounts get compromised.
there are multiple ways to do this, through simple paper wallets where you write down your info, all the way up to devices like trezor
it's a balance of convenience vs security for most people

Thanks for the info! And yes I've been investing for the long term.

haven't been in the crypto game for two years, any new coins worth looking at?
not too many new projects
there were IEOs instead of ICOs this year, but that has died out a bit
best route is to find the projects that are still building and growing now. pretty easy to find the ones with real adoption and a future ahead
you'll find a lot of older ones you know have failed to deliver the hype
i posted a majority of my altcoin holdings on page 2
DAG is a scam
How so? They have a partnership with USAF and chainlink uses them to validate data passing through their oracle.

their former ceo gambled away their ICO funds and they fired their entire team a few months ago because they ran out of money
they have never admitted to any of this and you get insta-banned if you ask about it in telegram
they recently raised a few million now and are paying pump-n-dump groups to promote it, hence why you even found out about it lol
buyer beware

I’ve done my research brother. Was skeptical about LINK as well during the ICO boom. Now look where it’s at. Apple had their ups and down. Steve Jobs was fired from the company he founded and now look where it’s at. I believe in DAG. Every company has their troubles and adversity. Some things are to never be talked about. And it’s best to leave things in the past.
They actually have an AMA today about chainlink and their use case.
yes but you need to verify your ID along with a bank account/deposit so i don't think you know what your'e talking about

that's fine. you can't compare LINK to DAG at all though. they have no similarities at all. hyperbolic statements like comparing steve jobs and apple to this startup that has less than 10 employees and works out of a WeWork is delusional
and i would not tough DAG especially after its run. it'll retrace at least 50%
i've read this drama since june-ish i think. the fud is very strong against DAG which makes it an interesting pick i guess
the biggest warning flag for me is that they've never addressed any of the FUD and instantly ban people in telegram. their admins are very toxic.
their entire team was let go a few months ago and now have jobs at Bloomberg etc. and the new CEO is a non-technical ad-tech vet that i would not trust with a blockchain startup
i think investing in june would have been a low risk play i could have gotten behind but not now lol
the USAF partnership isn't even anything major.
and finally anyone can use chainlink oracles for price data

i mean look at this that's pathetic that they tweeted that and had to delete it within an hour because it was a blatant scam
--
blind belief in a project that has shown its investors nothing but losses, dishonesty, and lies seems like a bad bet but good luck i hope that they reach 100,000 TPS bro lol
What we buying today fellas?
i shorted bitcoin at 7600 a bit ago
f*** these manipulated d**** candle markets lol

You do have a point tho. So I agree with some things you said. me and you view this project very differently. But I do appreciate your side of view and your insight/opinions. 🔥

yeah bro i think the truth falls somewhere in the middle on this one
there was 1 guy on 4chan /biz/ that's been "exposing" DAG for a while now and he's obsessed with it/mentally ill
apparently he lost a lot of money in the ICO and made it his mission to destroy them by exposing insider info
the team did not have any answers and really made the whole project look shady AF
their telegram even dox'd some kid who they thought was the FUDer
there were a lot of threads of people going back and forth on it before its done so well. i should have bought a few ETHs worth just for entertainment but, as I said, the warning signs checked out. I actually stalked their entire team on linkedin and am 2nd connections with the new CEO ben etc
just be careful bro, these guys will hype up any partnership they get even if it's BS. have targets for yourself and take profit on this one
