Privacy enabled by crypto on a software stack that is used by millions daily (browser for Brave, now LLM compute for Venice)

Team is decent, tokenomics are incentivized ponzi. Makes sense.

Biggest worry is that most people don't give a s*** about them, and will continue to use cloud frontier models due to being better and faster. And those that want to run privately/local will continue to build out their own compute and scale that. Usable local models will continue to shrink and make Venice less of a value proposition.

So I still think they're searching for a true product/market fit that can scale beyond crypto bros. If I were them I'd focus on getting businesses moreso than normie consumers
