Hey long time member of the site never ventured out of the music thread I’m 25 Currently a line cook and trying to make better use of my time and money looking for some advice on where to get started or should I just try to catch up as much as possible to this thread any type of advice is welcomed.

I’m 25 haven’t even started on working on my credit I make 17/hr bringing in about 2000 a month all profit. To be perfectly honest I’m starting late asf in the whole getting my life together been through a really bad depression these last 5 years and most of my money has been spent in weed self medicating and other things. So I’d definitely like to start building my credit and finding at least one source of income outside of my 9-5. Not looking to sound like a sound sob story or a handout for information you guys worked hard for just never had the proper financial guidance growing up and being to depressed to even care.

I think you should do a little research on what exactly you want.

Starting at 25 is pretty normal so don’t beat yourself up over it. You should look into a budget to see how much you wanna invest a week / month.
