    Fed rate rising hasn't lead to bear markets, look at 2018, 2015, 2004. You see 10-15% correction in stock market and then finish higher within next year

    It matters when yields invert and manufacturing data slows down

    Fed never has had to sell much off their balance sheet though until 2018 and it did cause a lot of volatility. Balance sheet much larger now, but duration is shorter I believe
