I think what they're doing to earn the yield is sustainable but the rates will probably decrease overtime as proof of stake networks lower issuance

that's where most the yield is generated

I never built an emergency fund but i’m now considering having that in stocks given it’s much less volatile

cash is trash, at least i’ll be avoiding inflation

Cash easier on hand for that though. Imagine you need $5k and the stock market dips hard on that day you need it.

I have very little cash on hand, at this point in my life I don't see myself even getting 20% of that emergency fund (assuming it's 5k) when an emergency comes knocking.

may be in 5-10 years that amount of money will be needed to cover something that happens yeah. your life changes, no kids, things that can be a liability now or my own property for now...
