I have no idea tbh, my personal first phase is doing A/B testing. If it gets mentions from my respected sources and is either ignored or deviled by sources I put little faith on, it's worth a bit of my time (hence DD) and if I like it a little it's worth 25 to 50 euros. If I love it I put 100 on it. Until I finish the different projects I'm working on, I can't afford to allocate more funds or time.

It's not one specific source, more of an internal barometer that wouldn't make sense to someone else than yourself. Check Youtube and Twitter, travel back in time to the very first time in recent memory this project got mentioned. Try to see if it's education and genuine excitement, in which case I start reading.

Or is it coordinated fake hype by people who want their asset to "go to the moon" ? You know, like a rally. '16 the_donald, '21 gme vibes... these projects may give short-term gains but by the time you heard of them it's already too late. It's like a MLM, a subreddit/telegram group collective, trying to cheer each other up with memes and feel good stories. I see despair in that. I try to run away from that.

I only do that because I'm already overworked by the multiple projects I'm currently leading, I don't have time to check everything :)

not everybody is like the amazing people in this thread. most of the time people won't share when they feel like it's a good opportunity or project. they'll share to get you to join. in general, outside of small forums like KTT, the internet is pretty evil and self-interested, even when it's seemingly altruistic
