Yeah of course I stay far far from the big influencers, they're grafters. My favorite move is to search on twitter for early followers of things that are currently popping, and I read their advice on other cryptos.

It's hard for a project to have a second magical run unless it has crazy good news. It already has a high market cap now - and payment coins are stupid

I'm not super up-to-date on beginner's stuff for crypto so I'll let others help you there

But one thing I do suggest is if you're new to investing, the resources for traditional finance are recommended instead of listening to some guy on crypto twitter's thread, since most of them just got lucky anyway. The boomers from the investment world laid the framework for how we evaluate projects in crypto in many ways and you'll be at a huge disadvantage if you can't figure out how to value projects by market cap, revenue (lol), supply, etc.
