I started hearing a lot about Bitcoin in 2012 from some friends I had and nobody really understood it

they all thought it was just valueless s*** that was gonna pump/dump and that you could use it to buy things anon (at the time before aml/kyc lol) but I had some understanding of public/private key encryption and after researching it I realized how powerful the technology could be long term and that it was basically impossible to crack

I didn't realize how things would play out I just knew it would be huge someday, I honestly am surprised how far we've come in 9 years I thought it would take longer
