This is SCOTT's iconic yellow circle, animated on a sketchpad using machine learning.

The team used a neural network to create the animation, which was trained using a dataset of more than 10,000 images of yellow circles. The network was then able to recreate the yellow circle on its own, without any human input.

The team also went one step further and used the same neural network to generate new images of yellow circles that have never been seen before.

"We're interested in how AI can be used to create art," said SCOTT's founder and CEO, Jonathan Rossiter. "We're looking at what happens when you use AI to create art, and whether it can be considered art in its own right. We're also looking at how AI can be used to create new art styles, and how these can be used to create new types of art."
