I got burnt really bad back in 2018. Just a lot less stressful to stick to stocks especially when my profits are excellent there too. For example +3.5k today

    What’s your portfolio looking like?

You seen QQQM? They made a more affordable QQQ with a lower expense rate.

    https://etfdb.com/tool/etf-comparison/QQQ-QQQM/

So why would Invesco launch a twibling? The short answer: Invesco designed the new
QQQM to appeal to buy-and-hold investors, while traders and institutional buyers may
prefer to stick with the original QQQ.

Let’s explain. For starters, the new fund is cheaper. QQQM (affectionately known as the
Q mini) has a lower management fee. Shares of the Q mini are also a fraction of the
value of QQQ, putting the mini within reach of small savers who might balk at QQQ’s
    price tag.

So why didn’t Invesco just cut the price of QQQ? There are several reasons. Many older
funds like QQQ, which launched in 1999, were structured as trusts. Trusts, unlike many
other equity ETFs, can’t lend out the stocks in their portfolio, and use the revenue to
help offset fees. They also can’t reinvest dividends, which many buy-and-hold savers
prefer. The Q mini can do both.

    Interesting...

I'm feeling sort of bummed out today because I haven't been paying too much attention to the markets for a bit. The top three companies I had on my watchlist, Unity, Palantir, and Nio, have all exploded and I'm just sitting on my ass haha.

This is the first time I've felt this much remorse over not jumping in when I knew I should have, so it's a good lesson, still a bummer.

Might buy some Palantir tomorrow though. Anything catching your eye lately?

Noticed you been absent from the thread but let the fomo go fam

Trimmed some of my tech winners and bought JPM and IWM (russ2k small cap etf)

Looks like value is coming back into play. Also on CNBC they said something about small caps always leading out of recessions. Let me see if I can find it

haha I've made peace with the fomo

IWM sounds like a good ETF. Can't go wrong with JPM.

Definitely send me that article, i'm interested to see where things go in the run up to the inauguration.

I think it's gonna be a smart long term play, I'm hoping it drops a bit tomorrow though. Ready to buy either way.

Anyone have any thoughts on this China EV craze? Is Li Auto the move? XPENG?
