so tempted to dip my toes in crypto again but ill stick to the stockies
lol same. eth was a good buy in march
So say I got all my gains on coin base. Sending it to my wallet and holding for a year should save me money on taxes in the US?
No but by holding on coinbase you are at their mercy
For example as that Reddit link showed it caused this poor guy to have to deal with a huge incorrect IRS note of $200,000 when he only traded $70 worth of tokens

depending how much you have a hardware wallet could be a good investment

Finally a reason to cop

GEVO :pog:
Bought some IWM (small cap etf)
Heard on cnbc that the last 5-6 recessions, small caps led the way back out.

Also picked up some JPM
Is it better than the trezor?
Or there no real significant difference between the two?
yeah the ledger supports more cryptos but they both support all the ones I use anyways
Ledger is better for more coins supported, uniswap etc. Maybe trezor has improved but before there was no functionality on dapp integrations
they added DAPP & ERC20 support in the end of 2018 but yeah they still have less coin support overall

Haven’t updated mine since early 2018 lmao

Once I switched to ledger never looked back
I wanted to buy a Trezor in 2016 it was the only wallet I'd ever heard of but then I found the Nano S on sale and overtime the Nano ended up being a better buy and got better support
yeah I love the ledger tbh
