I mean we're not close to the peak we were at. So I would wait like if it's still anything bearish rn. I've been investing actively into eth for the past 6 months

I got into crypto late fam, Copped a whole ETH at $1950 so this would be bread for me. I’m counting on the bears to bring it back to $1800 or lower in the coming weeks. I don’t want to cash out if we’re starting the bull run now though

only cash only the same way you bought it. Intervals. Can't time everything

Do you guys think that the BNB coin will one day crash due to it being in a bubble? And if so will that cause a collateral crash in coins that run off the Binance smart chain like CAKE?

It doesn't move like that. You'd be lucky if it even hits $2,200 right now

We just went up 10 straight days lol

Yes it has risks obviously. I sold a lot of my long term BNB but still hold a decent amount for utility

Still don't see how they can't just pay off governments like every other institution

Farming s*** like CAKE is for whales and suckers

I mean if it makes you good money I wouldn’t consider it being a sucker. Typically my positions increase 30% in 3-4 days from high APY yield farming, then I’ll just take profit and get out. Like daytrading on margin YF imo is just glorified gambling. But as long you have at least half a brain cell to pick a pair of coins with roughly the same price action and set price alerts in case of a nuke you should be fine.

It’s the folks that YOLO a YF with absolutely no risk management and just to check their liquidity pool a week later only to see a nearly liquidated position cuz they saw 2000% APY/.97% APR and thought they would ACTUALLY get those gains over the course of a week as if impermanent loss doesn’t exist.

If you copped at $1950, I’d definitely just let it sit.

You gotta look at the big picture. If you purchased one ETH right now compared to what it’s gonna be worth 10yrs-20yrs from now, you’re early. We’re all very, very early.

Considering that ETH is projected to be deflationary due to the supply of it being burned away…add to the fact it’s gas fees are going to be heavily reduced, it’s transactions are gonna skyrocket…it’s very possible we will see 40k ETH within a decade.

If you purchased 3 ETH worth $3000 each for aprox $10k. It would be worth 200,000 when the ETH is at 40k.

If you hold long term you will be well off financially.

If you have paper hands then you can go buy some boomer stocks and earn 10% return on interest annually and not worry about crypto I guess.

JP Morgan bought a f*** ton of ETH
Microsoft bought a bunch too… just to name a couple. The fact that corporations are quietly accumulating crypto while the mainstream media is filled with instilling fear into this revolutionary blockchain technology should be really telling in of itself.

Always buy when it’s fear, always buy when it’s blood in the streets, because by the time the mainstream media is confident on a certain crypto you’re ALWAYS gonna end up buying high and getting rug pulled.

supply on Ethereum will be far more limited than Bitcoin leading to it flipping the market cap first then the price much later on

this is because of multiple different factors

    1) the supply of Ethereum will be deflationary after EIP-1559 & EIP-3675 (the Merge) if the Network sustains 11 GWEI, right now we easily get that on days with light traffic and I expect that to go up even with rollups as more users join the network

    2) Ethereum is the currency of the smart contract Network, it is bought for gas, fungible tokens and NFTs.. driving demand and raising the GWEI, the stronger the network effect gets the strong the supply shock gets

    3) Defi & Proof of Stake, people can earn yield by putting their Ethereum in a Smart Contract for Defi/Staking.. this will further limit the supply of Ethereum on Exchanges and feeds into the supply dwindling

here is a good piece about the Defi capture of Ethereum driving up prices
