yall have no faith
starting to realize roaring 20s arent happening
as long as im rich tho none of this garbage will effect me
i have faith in myself the world is looking like s***
sure but the roaring 20s weren't exactly a stable time in the world lol
if we have some giant bubbles its not gonna be straight up
the roaring 20s was caused by leverage and financial deregulation, feel like we are closer to those conditions everyday
the FED and DC will flush as much liquidity is needed into the system to avoid depression and a deflationary asset spiral
which I think will lead to more stimulus bills that are 10x the previous ones coming for years growing the greatest bubble ever until something gives

if the FED ever stops though its over but until Inflation becomes a major major issue I don't see it happening
at every turn the amounts just get bigger year over year
there promises to reverse the spending are always broken
can anybody explain to me how apps like Robinhood can "sell crypto" without the users even owning the coins or being able to move them? What exactly are you buying when you "buy crypto" on there

no idea but it makes no sense for the general consumer

it allows them to do 0 commission crypto trading
you’re really just buying an IOU that tracks the price of the currency, you don’t actually own the underlying coin
RH does not provide you with a wallet
quiet before the storm, zoom out brother, we are only at first sell off
im not talking about crypto, talking about roiting cyberattacks and debt
all that stuff is bullish for crypto tho
if the FED ever stops though its over but until Inflation becomes a major major issue I don't see it happening

thats true, us debt has never been at a level where they could pay it back my entire life, i wonder what the limit on the money printer is

Are they purchasing crypto on your behalf then? You just never see it? Like if it’s an IOU but you never actually receive it you’re basically just betting on the price, right?

I mean that's the trillion dollar question
yeah it really depends on the dollar I feel, if the dollar gets too weak I think it could cause other fears and issues that would put pressure on the FED to raise rates
but it would have to be clear that there is runaway inflation before anyone would take that seriously
people love to point at a chart of the money supply mooning and say that has to equal inflation but inflation is determined by the velocity not the amount of money.. the money printed is barely entering the economy it just gets sucked into assets for now
I think there will be inflation on goods that people to survive because of global supply issues (COVID + Climate Change) but I don't see it as a result of the money printing at the moment
in the long run there probably will be runaway inflation on everything but I think deflation is a bigger threat in the short term with the current FED policy

yeah you have it right, you never see it
they dont create a wallet for you
they just let you buy some portion of the crypto they own in their wallet

as I approach 1 ETH I'm wondering, is just 1 enough to really change my life even in a small way, holding long term?
DCA is working but it sucks not having money for much else
