Yea same lol, I’ve only payed taxes on income from staking and interest. Taking out a loan through collateral is interesting but I haven’t needed the money to do that yet, it feels too risky for me but I haven’t really researched it enough tbh

yeah I wouldn't put your whole bag down on a loan

just do like some % and yeah I'd prepare for a 95% draw down with those positions still so I wouldn't take out very much, when Bitcoin was mooning in November taking out money for alts seemed like a good move but obviously last month would have been a terrible time lol

sometimes I've gotten stablecoins loans and put them in pools and earned crypto that way

I got a lot of barn bridge that way

its nice cause when the market tanks you just move the stablecoins back

obviously if that money got exploited some how that could be a downside tho

but yeah when I've paid off debt and got some things I've been wanting and I just sold a little bit of stuff for profits a long the way for stablecoins.. mainly higher risk alts

most my stuff is long term gains tho so I really am just paying a little state tax, like 5% in my income bracket lol
