Also I’m lost as to why ETH is rallying so well when Cardano is looking to usurp Ether very soon.

Actually come to think of it, it’s obvious market sentiment in BTC currently is s***, so in general ALT coins are gonna be rallying on crack for a while now.

Edit: looks like y’all about to have an aneurysm itt, checked the 7 day performance and ADA is in the lead overall, the higher 24hr price change in ETH is negligible when you look at the longer 7 day trend.

If you’re getting a s***coin that just hit the market you need to research it. It’s helpful to have a comprehensive understanding of crypto currency and how it works, to see if the coin will actually do anything useful.

From there see if the s***coin has a strong use case for certain things like scalability, is it a highly secure and anonymous coin, does it process transactions fast, is it deflationary in nature?

Then see if the lead developers/founder(s) backing it are legit, check their LinkedIn profile, what they have accomplished previously, do they have timelines they are working on and have completed anything so far? Are they reaching out to other institutions for financial support, are other software companies interested in collaborating with them?

If the s***coin has all of these things going for it, throw some money at it while it’s only a few cents in value, it could blow up, it could dissolve, it could surge and collapse in value and never reach its ATH again. You never really know, but scared money don’t make money. Just know these s***coins usually take a year+ before they go parabolic, so be extremely patient before you think about selling.

One red flag is if they claim investing into the coin will go towards some humanitarian or environmental cause, I’ve seen some s*** coins say that just to collapse into nothing later on (likely an exit scheme). Another red flag is if they haven’t implemented and tested any software they have, that could also be a scam (aka vapor ware). Are the founders and developers anonymous ? Another red flag.
