Who is gonna favor Gamestop eShop over all the existing video game clients? Or what would they do thats different? Gamestops whole business model revolved around used games, then they tried to sell funkos, toys, and shirts. Just curious to hear your opinion. no ill intent.

With all the consoles having digital options I’m not sure how well they’ll do going forward. They have a decent customer base though, they actually outsold the competition on hardware sales in Q2.

Yes the used games was how they made tons of money years ago, but they’re going through a business transformation now. The stock itself is cheap, it’s a value play.. Last month it was $5, now it’s $11. 5 years ago it was $40. The old company is the old company, and it’s not as important in evaluating where they go from here. They already bottomed out.

So now they’re going the e commerce route and they have tons of retail locations that are a liability, but even Amazon is working towards building their retail footprint. Order online, pick up in store.

Now with that said I wish I would’ve invested a month ago idk if I do it now.

More of those Funko Pops and probably more vintage video games, and they'll probably still have some kind of releases for games with special editions. Especially when they come with physical products like figurines and shirts and s***. BBC
