    Where is a good place to start as a total stock rookie? Its time to start learning and leveling up.

    ETFs (exchange traded funds) reflect the stock market as a whole, and as such are way less volatile than single stocks. A little less than 10% per year would be considered a great return on these. These are long term holds.

    I've also seen that a portfolio with ~30-35 stocks is ideal. This is just my experience as someone who started a year ago also with 0 knowledge. Posters itt are way more knowledgeable, although it has gone mostly crypto recently
