If you were buying during downturns and wanted to take nice profits, sure, feel free to do so. But I would have done so in pieces and kept more for a more lucrative number
Just to keep it simple, say you bought 25k of Btc at 10k, you could have even done something somewhat conservative like
At 40-50k, sell around 10%
At 60-70k, sell around 20%
At 70-80k, sell around 25%
At 80-90k, sell around 20%
At 90-100k, sell around 10%
You know have 15% left
Maybe sell 10% at around 125-150k
Keep the 5% for 150-250k
Say we top out at 90k, you would have taken 75% out and can hold the rest for next cycle, if we fall very heard, an opportunity to buy more
yeah this is how I invest and move out the market also these days

True, that does sound like a much more reliable play in a bull market.
This stems from me doing the exact same thing last month just before it dipped and i ended up buying in at much lower prices across the board.

And how many people in here are planning on holding their BTC/ETH for years ? (5-10+)
I am leaning towards the latter
Obviously ideal as it is to sell at the peak and find another good entry, it seems too risky if you believe in BTC long term hitting 500k+..
I'm definitely selling.
I don't expect the lows to go back to 9000. Not with TSLA money creating a new threshold. But I'm definitely going to sell once we hit a peak.
