Of course I get that, but then why are ethereum and crypto at all time high searches
And this isn't all bug business investments, don't lie to yourselves guys and remember there were institutions (but less I think) last time
I have friends who have never invested in crypto before and have barely just heard of Ethereum in the past 2-3 weeks asking me

lmk a company that purchased 1.5b bitcoin in 2017. Or any big business that was getting into it, not as a meme.
Yeah okay, I honestly think it’s a never ending argument and both have their risks and benefits tbh. At the end of the day it’s all about being pretentious and that gives people a dopamine rush.
Also if people are making money on both sides I personally see no problem and I’m happy for everybody.
Honestly can’t find an argument for stocks if you’re goal is to maximise your earning potential

yeah Ethereum hype does seem very high I honestly feel like it's ready to move up against Bitcoin at some point and there are definitely a lot bigger players this time around I don't remember any major companies buying Bitcoin with their Balance sheet last

Barrier of entry to get into stocks is to high. Wall Street doesn't want you to be able to invest. Why do you think big brokers had crazy commissions for no reason, won't let you buy fractional shares. Everything is set out against the retail investor. no thank you.

yeah just the way I look at it is during the bull run and when it's about to start is the time to dump all your money into crypto and then when crypto enters a bear market you focus on buying some more stocks for long term holding

I haven't really got into them. I'm not sure I fully understand them. But I look to things like StockX, StartStock and the rise of collecting and reselling all sorts of stuff and I can see where the value comes from and the ability to grow.
I guess to me, it feels like they can be duped.
I just pray it doesnt devalue crypto.
Let's be honest how much usd would you pay for a pixilated painting of tyga lol

I see two options: NFTs become irrelevant or they take off and boost crypto further.
I don't think they will devalue it but someone more into them may be able to speak on that further.

the future is augmented reality. be a visionary

None that big that I can recall, but there were some big shills like John Mcafee and Chamath
I will have to retake a look, but I bet some companies were stocking up for cheap
This time is different a bit in that sense, but lot of people I know who aren't into finance at all or just some stocks are asking and talking

yeah there are a lot of junk NFTs but the future is digital and being able to own a asset digitally and have it be backed by a blockchain proving it's 1 of a kind is a big deal
I've seen some dope 3D art also

When you say it like that it makes a lot of sense lol. I have no idea why I wasn't thinking blockchain. When you look at all the fake sneakers, cutting cards to grade higher, etc... having the power of blockchain to verify it creates a great value proposition.

Feel like it was the same way with stocks when robinhood rolled around. All of a sudden people are talking the markets and investing.
I don't think crypto is a fad any longer. It's here to stay. Numbers go up.

No for sure, but I mean when prices go like this and all of retail comes in (not the peak, but we are in that hot territory), it doesn't last like this
I don't think most people here were investing in 2000 or 2008 and or don't have a finance background where they hear these stories
i jus think the gme s*** was a huge show spectacle, then doge coin did their marketing. i think it was a cia psyop
this is the illuminati's way of giving the ones paying attention one last bone before the tech takeover
