a hardware wallet puts the security in your hands which brings other concerns.. do you live with people you trust, what happens if your home burns down, do you trust yourself not to lose your seed?

a hardware wallet is definitely nice for trading on DEXs though I like having to sign for any transaction on it, it adds another layer of security.. if you start to trade on DEXs with a lot of money it could be a good idea

but exchanges have gotten a lot better with security

if you whitelist withdrawal, use google voice sms, and use 2fa you should be good

you definitely could get a hardware wallet if it works with your needs but for some people it could cause more issues

a lot of people only hold alts to get more eth and btc so when they start to lose against either people definitely panic sell back into the big boys which helps them pump even more but could be brutal on certain alts
