Spotify just opened up to the Russian market, investing $100M in Rogan, etc so I feel like they're setting themselves up for good things in the years ahead

Nobody knows the future but here’s my theory.

Apple let’s Spotify live because they have to, to avoid basically a monopoly. If Spotify starts becoming a sizable threat, Apple will drop some millions and sign some Apple exclusives and ramp up the podcast sector to sign some large names.

Spotify’s future imo will be held hostage. But I’m just taking a shot in the dark

late as a mf to this thread but in 2010 when I was in high school I asked my mom if I could pay her $50 cash to use her debit card to buy this new bitcoin thing that seemed neat and she said no

s*** was like 8 or 9 cents per coin and I will forever hang that over my moms head when she talks to me about my dumbass student loan payments

fast forward a few years, finally bought bitcoin solely because I began slanging d**** in college and was dropping multiple bitcoins on packs (which wasn't a ton at the time mind you) and when I look back at my old wallet that s*** was like $5-10k a purchase. idiot me didn't think to save any on the side just in case it shot up (hint: it did)

over time I started buying more just to trade and stopped dealing, then hit a lick on AntShares a good bit before rebranding as Neo and my portfolio skyrocketed. With some lucky trades with other coins I went from ~$20 to a little over $2k, traded daily pretty well for a little while after that and hit $15k or so.

Convinced my parents to finally throw down some of their own money on coins and they tossed in a good $2k, literally like a week before the 2017 (?) burst and lost a good majority of it. They still hold it in hopes it'll get back to what it was at the time but who knows what'll happen. During that time I got a new job and was at the two day orientation for 8 hours each day and had to watch helplessly from my phone under the table as my portfolio crashed like a lead balloon.

Nowadays I still mess with crypto but more for buying certain things online for personal use with Monero. Got into a bit of a gambling hole 8 or 9 months ago on one of those online casinos playing blackjack (lowkey balled out one time turning $0.50 into $700 on risky bets and payed off my college semester) so I try to avoid falling back into that s*** by just not buying crypto with the intent to make profit.

Might get back into it eventually though. I was pretty good with technical a***ysis and even made youtube videos on techniques for a bit (took em down tho) and called positions with an internet homie for a $800/month VIP telegram channel with 2k members in it til life got in the way and I lost interest.

Think about southwest too. Flights will bounce back but international airlines will struggle longer unlike southwest which has a low amount of debt and decent balance sheet. Taking tips from my boss who got money to toss for this
