But in the past couple of months I have bought Eth (largest amount by good portion), nano, uni, aave, lrc, compound, grt, link, atom, ada, vechain, storj

If Eth dips under 1500, maybe a buy, but market is heating up, so there is now more risk than even last month

Defi already multiplied this month

But its tough if you have no positions, maybe split it up and but in pieces or dca

people in this thread keep saying they wanna sell and buy lower but I honestly don't play that game anymore it can work sometimes don't get me wrong but there is a lot of risk you'll miss gains

it's one thing to sell some and take some profits and say hey if it drops down a lot I'll rebuy some but it's another thing to try and sell most your holding to rebuy lower cause it may not get lower until the bubble pops sometime this year which could be after it's already gone far higher

I have been burned by trying to sell in a bull market and rebuy later, the issue is a 40% rise isn't uncommon and then a dip doesn't even matter at that point for trying to rebuy at a lower price

and tbh unless you plan on day trading and buying/selling often, depending on when you bought, the tax implications/different tax rates might not be worth it.

uniswap, metamask, DeFi, are all these platforms to trade on just like coinbase? the difference is that some platforms allow you to buy and sell alt coins, & some platforms r decentralized

Use coinbase pro over coinbase. That, Gemini, and Kraken are exchanges you can buy crypto with usd.

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange/dex where you swap coin for coin. You can find more tokens available here or other dexes. Swapping costs ether so I’d stick with what’s in the exchanges until you figure what you want to do.
