rozcoI sold gme. First time I’ve ever just thrown money at a gamble so I’m not even mad at it, I paid for a lesson to not be an idiot in the future and just cut my losses. I sold my amc for a slight profit yesterday and used it to buy up the remaining fractional shares in my portfolio so I can transfer everything to td ameritrade. Should’ve just done the same with gme but what can you do.
I’m happy with this situation overall. It made me speed up my decision to get to a reputable broker. Gonna keep some money and the btc I “own” in robinhood for now for some slightly riskier/short term plays.
Anyone who just got into the market because of this, I hope it doesn’t turn you off. Read a book on common sense investing, but some etfs, watch some videos, and just be patient. Your money will grow. Investing is the way

All things considered it was a pretty cheap lesson. Its also easy to let investments take up too much mindshare, I know it was distracting me from important work last week.
My portfolio is doing great, and that's because they're all decisions I spent a lot of time researching over the holidays and stuck to a plan. Everyone knows this but Robinhood's presentation makes investing, even if your being smart about it, feel too addicting. It helped me learn a lot but I'm stoked to move up to the next level.
