people doing peer to peer savings and loans
the US office of the controller of currency is working with Circle and all the major banks to send USD over Ethereum instead of using ACH or SWIFT
Chase is adding full crypto integration by 2022
it's becoming the future of finance right now
also tons of privacy based tech companies are working on decentralized websites, you could make social media that is uncensored, run cheap decentralized site building platforms and so many more things the decentralized internet is coming

If it was actually tied to the technological developments growth would be a lot more gradual. Instead it seems to be driven by noise and hype that its gonna hit 10k 20k etc

happens all the time and just because something drops 90% doesn't mean that the tech was overvalued it was prematurely valued, ETH could hit 10k this year but then it's probably coming back down to 2k lol
it always goes up a ton but when you average it over 10 years though looking at it zoomed out, like if you look at amazon stock before the bubble popped in 2000
it's gradual if you average it but humans aren't logical we get swept into manias from time to time and then we get bored of stuff for a while
markets always have cycles and the newer the market the more extreme that is
